Controls Overview

The Controls Panel sits on the right side of the dashboard. It contains everything you need to manage the bot’s operation, risk settings, and trade safeguards.

What’s in the Controls Panel

The panel is organized into four sections, stacked vertically:

1. Net Greeks

A detailed view of your portfolio Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega) with color coding and directional labels. See Understanding Greeks for details.

2. Risk Limits

Your safety boundaries:

  • Daily Loss Limit — Maximum total loss allowed per day (e.g., $1,000)
  • Max Positions — Maximum number of simultaneous positions
  • Trades Today — How many trades have been executed today
  • Kill Switch Reason — If the kill switch was triggered, this shows why

To edit risk limits:

  1. Make sure the bot is stopped (you can’t edit while running)
  2. Click the gear icon (⚙️) in the Risk Limits header
  3. Adjust the values
  4. Click Save (green checkmark)

3. Trade Safeguards

Protective settings that apply to all strategies:

  • Max Bid-Ask Spread — Rejects trades with spreads above this percentage
  • 0DTE Close Buffer — How many minutes before market close to auto-close 0DTE positions
  • Fill Price Buffer — Accounts for price differences in paper trading
  • Max Condors Per Expiry — Limits stacking of condors on the same expiration
  • Max Consecutive Rejections — Pauses entries after too many rejected orders

Each safeguard has a slider for adjustment and a brief description underneath explaining what it does.

4. Controls

The main bot control buttons:

  • START / STOP — Toggle the bot on and off
  • KILL / UNLOCK — Engage or disengage the kill switch
  • Emergency Close — Close all positions immediately

Each control is covered in detail on its own page:
